The seat allotment results for the first round of counseling will be announced on 23rd September
The registration and choice filling of the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) for admissions to IITs and NITs will be concluded at 5 pm today (Wednesday). The seat allotment results will be declared on 23rd September for 1st round of JoSAA counseling.
The JEE Advanced 2022 examination was held on 28th August while JEE Advanced 2022 exam results were announced on 11th September. The JoSAA registration and choice filling started on 12th September 2022.
As per the schedule of JoSAA counseling 2022, the candidate registrations and choice filling for JoSAA counseling 2022 started on 12th September and will conclude at 5 pm today (21st September). JoSAA counseling will take place in 6 rounds. The 1st round of counseling would be held from 23rd September to 27th September, 2nd round from 28th September to 2nd October, 3rd round from October 3 to October 7, 4th round from 8th October to 11th October, 5th round from 12th October to 15th October, and the final 6th round from 16th October to 17th October. The candidates have to confirm the allotment result by opting for freeze, float, and slide options in every round of counseling. The successful aspirants of the JEE Main 2022 and JEE Advanced 2022 are participating in the JoSAA for allotment of seats in 114 technical institutions in the country including IITs, IIITs, NITS, GFTIs, and others.
The JoSAA counseling 2022 will facilitate admissions to 114 technical institutions of the country including 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 26 IIITs, 33 other-government funded technical institutions, and IIEST Shibpur, The students will be to fill in their choices in the JoSAA as per their qualification and eligibility.
