How To Do Choice Filling
The Students have been given the opportunity to choose filling only once, so students should fill the choices of the maximum number of colleges in decreasing order of their preference. Students can estimate the trend of choosing colleges by looking at the opening and closing ranks of previous years’ colleges.
According to their rank, the students should also include the college branches ranked below the closing rank of the previous years in the order of the college priority list as per their interest. Before filling the colleges in JoSAA counseling, make a list of your priority colleges on paper and fill them online only after assessing them so that there is no possibility of mistakes. Students must check completely before locking the college choice because after locking it will not be possible to change it.
After the result of JEE-Advanced, now the biggest curiosity among the students and parents is the selection of college and branch. Every student wants the desired branch with the best IIT.
Those students whose All India Rank is under-100, they are likely to get Computer Science in Top IIT Bombay, Delhi, Kanpur, and Madras. The third priority is given to the Computer Science Branch of Kanpur and Madras.
Between 100 to 500 ranks, admission can be sought in the MNC of Delhi, Kanpur, electrical branch of the first top four IITs (IIT Mumbai, IIT Delhi, IIT Kanpur and IIT Madras), and CS of Kharagpur.
Between 500 to 1000 ranks, students can get core branches of BHU, Roorkee, and Hyderabad, CS branches of Guwahati, Mumbai, Delhi, and Kanpur.
