The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has released the JoSAA Counselling schedule 2022 for admission in IITs, NITs, IIITs and other technical education institutions. JOSAA has released the schedule of events of JOSAA 2022 (Online reporting) on its website josaa.nic.in.
JoSAA counselling would commence after the conclusion of the JEE Advanced 2022 examination and declaration of JEE Advanced 2022 results. The JEE Advanced 2022 examination will be held on 28th August while JEE Advanced 2022 exam result will be announced on 11th September. The JoSAA registration and choice filling will start from 12th September 2022.
JoSAA counselling will take place in 6 rounds. The successful aspirants of the JEE Main 2022 and JEE Advanced 2022 will be able to participate in the JoSAA for allotment of seats in 114 technical institutions of the country including IITs, IIITs, NITS, GFTIs and others.
As per the schedule, the candidate registrations and choice filling for JoSAA counselling 2022 will start from 12th September and conclude on 21st September. The 1st round of counselling would be held from 23rd September to 27th September, 2nd round from 28th September to 2nd October, 3rd round from October 3 to October 7, 4th round from 8th October to 11th October, 5th round from 12th October to 15th October, and the final 6th round from 16th October to 17th October. The candidates have to confirm the allotment result by opting for the freeze, float and slide option.
The JoSAA counselling 2022 will facilitate admissions to 114 technical institutions of the country including 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 26 IIITs, 33 other-government funded technical institutions, and IIEST Shibpur, The students will be to fill in to their choices in the JoSAA as per their qualification and eligibility.
