JoSAA counselling schedule released, Registrations to commence from 12th Sept

JoSAA released the counselling session schedule on its website josaa.nic.in

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has released the JoSAA Counselling schedule 2022 for admission in IITs, NITs, IIITs and other technical education institutions. JOSAA has released the schedule of events of JOSAA 2022 (Online reporting) on its website josaa.nic.in.

JoSAA Counselling to commence after JEE Adv exam and results

JoSAA counselling would commence after the conclusion of the JEE Advanced 2022 examination and declaration of JEE Advanced 2022 results. The JEE Advanced 2022 examination will be held on 28^th August while JEE Advanced 2022 exam result will be announced on 11^th September. The JoSAA registration and choice filling will start from 12^th September 2022.

JoSAA Counselling to be done in 6 rounds

JoSAA counselling will take place in 6 rounds. The successful aspirants of the JEE Main 2022 and JEE Advanced 2022 will be able to participate in the JoSAA for allotment of seats in 114 technical institutions of the country including IITs, IIITs, NITS, GFTIs and others.

As per the schedule, the candidate registrations and choice filling for JoSAA counselling 2022 will start from 12^th September and conclude on 21^st September. The 1^st round of counselling would be held from 23^rd September to 27^th September, 2^nd round from 28^th September to 2^nd October, 3^rd round from October 3 to October 7, 4^th round from 8^th October to 11^th October, 5^th round from 12^th October to 15^th October, and the final 6^th round from 16^th October to 17^th October. The candidates have to confirm the allotment result by opting for the freeze, float and slide option.

Counselling to facilitate seat allotments for 114 institutions

The JoSAA counselling 2022 will facilitate admissions to 114 technical institutions of the country including 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 26 IIITs, 33 other-government funded technical institutions, and IIEST Shibpur, The students will be to fill in to their choices in the JoSAA as per their qualification and eligibility.

• Date of birth certificate.
• JEE Main seat allotment letter issued by JoSAA.
• Three passport size photographs (same as uploaded during registration).
• Valid photo identity card.
• Fee payment slip.
• JEE Main admit card 2022.
• JEE Main 2022 score card.
• Disability certificate (if any).
• Caste certificate (if any).
• Non-creamy layer certificate (if applicable).
