JoSAA Counselling Second Mock Seat Allocation 2023 Declared

1 lakh 74 Thousand 148 Students Participated

JoSAA has started the counselling process for admission in IIT-NIT and other top engineering colleges. Under the counselling, The last day of choice filling for more than 57 thousand seats in 116 colleges is June 28 till 5 pm. Students can fill the choices of 813 branches of 116 colleges.

If the student is not able to lock his/her filled college choice within the given time, then his/her last saved choice gets automatically locked.

The second mock seat allocation of joint seat counselling has been released. 1 crore 99 lakh 83 thousand 032 choices of total 1 lakh 74 thousand 148 students have been included and allotted in the released mock seat allocation.

What Students Should Do Now?

After the second mock seat allotment, students must check their filled college choices one last time to see if there is any choice of the college branch allotted to them in the second mock seat allotment which is less in priority than the allotted branch and the choice of any college branch below the received branch which was to be filled, in priority, above that branch. Because once locked, no change is possible in the filled branch. This JoSAA counselling will be done in six rounds.

First Allotment On 30th June

This year also the first round seat allotment for admission in IIT-NIT will be announced on June 30 at 10 am. After the first round seat allotment, students will have to report online between June 30 and July 04. In online reporting, students will have to deposit the seat acceptance fee and upload all the required documents.

Their allotted seat will be confirmed by JoSAA after verifying their documents. Under the category documents to be uploaded, it is mandatory that the OBC and EWS certificates must have been made April 1, 2023.
