Know the cut-off, number of qualified students for counseling in NEET UG 2022

National Testing Agency conducted the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) for 1872343 candidates at 3570 different Centres located in 497 Cities throughout the country including 14 Cities outside India on 17 July 2022 (Sunday) from 02:00 P.M. to 05:20 P.M. (IST).

Out of 17.64 lakh aspirants of NEET UG 2022, 9.93 lakh qualified for Counseling

Nearly 18 lakh 72 thousand 343 students got registered for the examination.  Out of this, 17 lakh 64 thousand 571 students took the exam.  1 lakh 7 thousand 772 students remained absent.  10 lakh 64 thousand 794 girls and 8 lakh 7 thousand 538 students were involved in the registration of students.  At the same time, 10 lakh 1 thousand 15 girl students and 7 lakh 63 thousand 545 students are included in the examination.  In the results, a total of 9 lakh 93 thousand 69 students have been declared qualified for counseling.  Of these, 4 lakh 29 thousand 160 are students and 5 lakh 63 thousand 902 are girls and 7 are transgender.

The highest number of students who have registered for the exam and appeared in the exam so far is NEET-UG 2022.
18 lakh 72 thousand 343 candidates got the registration done.  The examination was conducted at 3570 examination centers in 497 cities of the country and abroad, out of which this examination was held in 14 cities outside the country.  The countries outside the country include Abu Dhabi, Bangkok, Colombo, Doha, Kathmandu, Kuala Lumpur, Manama, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah, Singapore, Dubai and Kuwait.  The exam took place on July 17 from 2 to 5.20 pm.  Apart from this, re-examination was conducted in Koalam, Sriganganagar, Nagaur, Kushinagar, Bhind, Hoshangabad, Baigusarai and Thane.  The exams conducted in 13 languages include Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.  1 lakh 56 thousand 504 examiners were appointed for the examination.  There 3911 observers were installed.  There were 494 coordinators.

Know the Cut-off for different categories in NEET UG 2022

The cut-off for the different categories of students in NEET UG 2022 is 117 for General category, and 93 each for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and other Backward castes (OBC). The cut-off was mentioned in the marksheets of the students.
The Examination was conducted in 13 languages (Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu). The examination was also conducted for the first time in Abu Dhabi, Bangkok, Colombo, Doha, Kathmandu, Kuala Lumpur, Lagos, Manama, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah, Singapore along with Dubai and Kuwait City. A re-examination was conducted for affected candidates in Kollam, Sriganganagar, Nagaur, Kushinagar, Bhind, Hoshangad, Begusarai, and Thane. The examination was conducted in English and Hindi only.

When sometimes the marks were less in the test, then the parents used to motivate her. They never pressurized her for marks and motivated for preparation with positivity.  She used to do self-study for 6-7 hours daily.  NEET students should prepare for the target from the very first day, and not at the last minute.  As the course progresses in the classroom, you will have to revise the previous studies again and again.  You can make small notes topic-wise.  Tanishka has passed class 12th this year with 98.6 percent marks.  Whereas in class 10th she had secured 96.4 percent marks.  Apart from this, she has scored 99.50 percentile in JEE Mains.  Tanishka, aspiring to pursue MBBS from Delhi AIIMS, wants to do specialization in cardio, neuro or oncology.  The family is originally from Narnaul, Haryana.
