Two years of scholarship studies in Kota

For that, there was no other better option than Kota. After completion of 10th standard, I came to Kota and took admission in the ALLEN Career Institute for preparation of IIT-JEE. Here I got an environment even better than what I expected.” ALLEN’s director, Brajesh Maheshwari Sir, supported him during his preparation. Lakshya also won a scholarship for his studies in Kota. Here, ALLEN gave his 90 percent discount in two years’ fees, Hostel and other facilities. According to Lakshya, he found a national level competition and International level exposure. He found company of good students along with the guidance of Nation’s best faculty members. This was the reason that in 2015, Lakshya won a Gold Medal at IJSO making the entire nation proud of him. Following that he also bagged a Bronze medal in the Astronomy Olympiad. He also achieved 13th All India Rank in the prestigious KVPY examination.
Next Target is getting into the University of Pennsylvania
According to Lakshya, studying at the University of Pennsylvania has always been his aim. With the same objective, he had taken admission in Kota. “I have always been interested in studying at the University of Pennsylvania because of the great level of facilities available there for Undergraduate Level. I am more interested in studying Computer Engineering and Physics. Further studies will be done abroad too. I wish to do research in theoretical physics. My interest in research was ignited while reading Encyclopedia, a habit that was inculcated by my father in me at a very young age while I was just in class 6th. My curiosity kept on increasing and I continued reading more and more.”
Hobby of watching stars
Lakshya said that he enjoys music and watching stars along with studies. Whenever I get time, I like to play synthesizer. Moreover I also like to watch stars from the telescope. My interest in Astronomy took birth because of the same hobby. My father even got me telescope for the same.
Mother’s greatest contribution
“My mother Alka Sharma means everything to me. She has cooperated in every manner possible for my studies. Father Kunj Bihari Sharma is a CA in Canada. The elder sister is also studying medicine from there. Here my mother is staying with me. Earlier in Lucknow and then for 2 years in Kota, she stayed with me and accompanied me during my preparation. She took care of all my needs and have been a great source of inspiration for me at every step.”
Success is a result of regular studies
Lakshya’s mantra of success is consistency in studies. Regular studies help us perform consistently. There should be sports and other activities but nothing should be done at the cost of studies. I missed out on a lot of classes due to my Olympiads exams, but then with more dedication I covered up the entire syllabus later.
He makes us proud
ALLEN is always ready to help carve talented students. Lakshya is one such talented student. He has proved his superiority in many examinations time and again. The entire city is very proud of him.
