KVPY 2017 Final Result has been declared. Download the Result List Here

Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) 2017 result has been declared on 31st March 2017 by the exam conducting body. This is the Final Result of KVPY (aptitude test + interview) & now the selected candidates will get the scholarship.

Following is the provisional list of candidates in the order of merit, recommended for the Award of KVPY Fellowship-2016. The merit list is based on the marks obtained by a Candidate: 75 % of the marks in the Aptitude Test + 25 % of the marks in the Interview.

All India Rank List – General Merit and cut off marks

• Stream – SA (55.00 % and above)
• Stream – SX (55.00 % and above)
• Stream – SB (50.00 % and above)

All India Rank List under Empowerment Initiative for SC/ST students in the KVPY Fellowship Program and cut off marks:

• Stream – SA (45.00 % and above)
• Stream – SX (45.00 % and above)
• Stream – SB (40.00 % and above)

All India Rank List under Empowerment Initiative for PWD students in the KVPY Fellowship Program and cut off marks:

• Stream – SA (45.00 % and above)
• Stream – SX (45.00 % and above)
• Stream – SB (40.00 % and above)

The marks of all the candidates who appeared for the Aptitude Test & Interview (as applicable) can be obtained from the KVPY website in third week  of April 2017 by logging in with the application number and date of birth.

The Award of KVPY Fellowship will be  subject to verification of the required documents.

In case of SA candidates the fellowship will be effective from 1st August 2018, provided they pursue an undergraduate course in Basic Sciences, that are, B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./M.S. in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Cell Biology, Ecology, Molecular Biology, Botany, Zoology, Physiology, Biotechnology, Neurosciences, Bioinformatics, Marine Biology, Geology, Human Biology, Genetics, Biomedical Sciences, Applied Physics, Geophysics, Materials Science or Environmental Science.

In case of SX/SB candidates the fellowship will be effective from 1st August 2017 provided they pursue an undergraduate course in Basic Sciences in branches mentioned above for SA candidates.

You are required to intimate the KVPY office by email (kvpy@admin.iisc.ernet.in) about your admission to the undergraduate program as mentioned above on or before 5th September 2017, so as to enable us  to forward the required forms to you for the commencement of fellowship.
