If you are a JEE or NEET aspirant, also preparing for KVPY and Olympiads; this blog is a must to read as here you will get to know the right preparation strategy that will help you get closer to your career goals.

Even though you aren’t targeting KVPY or Olympiad, as your primary goal is clearing JEE/NEET exams; you must take this into consideration that when it comes to preparation, certain factors and parameters stand same for all exams. Excelling on these factors will help you a lot in strengthening your preparation for the coveted JEE and NEET exams.

Multidimensional Thinking is the Key

Explaining the importance of the same, ALLEN Career Institute’s Academic Mentor, Ashish Arora sir highlights that KVPY, Olympiad, JEE, and NEET have quite a few similarities; especially in regard to the subjects, topics, and questions. The major difference among these exams as perceived by most students is difficulty level. However, Ashish sir states that the prime difference here is not the difficulty level but logical thinking.

He further explains that there are various ways of asking and solving a question. Being able to understand the different ways a question can be asked and solved helps you excel with perfection.

For taking your preparation to the perfection level, you need to develop multidimensional thinking; study a question carefully and think of the various ways that can help you come to a logical solution.

When preparing for JEE and NEET, you learn to solve questions in a time-bound mode. While you practice the time-bound method of solving questions, mark the questions which you felt were really good and do a higher analysis of them. This will help you greatly for enhancing the KVPY and Olympiad preparation.

You should consider practicing this analysis at least 1 or 2 hours in a day; set this time aside from your usual preparation of JEE and NEET.

As you keep doing this, you will develop your thinking prowess and learn the ways of decoding a question and its possible solution in a multidimensional way. Make notes of the analysis you do, discuss them with your friends and faculties and also get your doubts solved from the faculties.

With consistent practice, you will notice a considerable improvement in your preparation level for KVPY and Olympiad.
