JEE (Advanced) 2019 Exam is just around the corner. With just a few days left for the prestigious engineering entrance exam which is to be conducted on May 27, 2019, students must be preparing with tooth and nail at this final minute.
JEE Advanced 2019 is scheduled to be held on May 27, 2019. The examination will be held in India and abroad, on May 27, 2019 (Monday), in the following two shifts: Paper 1 (09:00 to 12:00 IST) and Paper 2 (14:00 to 17:00 IST). Candidates of JEE Advanced 2019 will have to appear for both Papers 1, 2 to qualify and be eligible for admissions to IITs.
Here are some guidelines which a student should keep in mind for the JEE (Advanced) 2019 exam
A printout of the Admit Card must be presented for verification at the examination centre/hall. Carefully check your admit card. In case of any discrepancy contact the Chairman, JEE (Advanced) 2019.
Documents that MUST BE brought to the examination centre: Printout of the Admit Card and (at least one) original photo identity card (for example, Aadhaar, School ID, Driving license, Voter ID, Passport and PAN card).
Candidates are advised to locate and visit the examination centre a day before the examination, so as to ensure that on the day of the examination, they can reach the centre on time. Report at the examination centre before 07:30 hours IST and cooperate with the staff for physical frisking.
After your entry to the examination centre, biometric registration/ verification will be done before the commencement of both Paper 1 and Paper 2. After biometric registration, you are required to take your assigned seat in the examination hall by 07:45 hours IST for Paper 1 and by 12:45 hours IST for Paper 2.
The screen of the computer system assigned to you would display your name, photograph, and JEE (Advanced) 2019 Roll Number. You can log in to the computer system assigned to you and start reading instructions 20 minutes before the start of the examination. Login id required for login is your JEE (Advanced) 2019 Roll No. and the password for login is your date of birth (in dd/mm/yyyy format).
The examination will commence at 09:00 hours IST for Paper 1 and 14:00 hours IST for Paper 2. You will NOT be allowed to enter the examination centre after the commencement of the examination in both the papers. You may note that all the rough work MUST be done on the scribble pad given to you at the start of each paper. The Scribble pad is for rough work ONLY and anything written in the scribble pad will NOT be used for any evaluation purpose. No extra scribble pad would be provided to any candidate. A scribble pad will not be collected by the invigilator at the end of each paper and you may take it with you.
You will NOT be allowed to leave the examination hall before the end of the examination. You will be allowed to carry/wear a simple analog watch. Smart/digital/programmable watches, mobile phones, Bluetooth, earphones, microphones, pager, health band or any other electronic gadgets, any printed/blank/handwritten paper, log table, writing pad, scale, geometry/pencil- box, pouch, calculator, pen drives, electronic pen, wallet, handbag, goggles or similar such things are NOT allowed inside the examination centre.
You are advised NOT to wear charm/tabeez, items containing metals such as ring, bracelet, earrings, nose pin, chain/necklace, pendants, badge, brooch, hair pin, hair band, clothes with full sleeves or big buttons. Candidates are advised to wear open footwear like chappals and sandals.
Violation of any of the rules and regulations at any stage of the examination will lead to the cancellation of the candidature.
