● Based on percentage (After 10th/ 12th/ Graduation/ Lateral Entry)

● Based on qualification previous to eligibility qualification

● Based on National Level Test (JEE (Mains/ NEET/ NATA/ CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ MAT/ NMAT/ GATE/ GPAT/ CLAT/ UCEED/ SPM/ JRF/ NET (LS))

● Based on Sports/ Cultural, R&D, Co-curricular, Social Services, and Bravery Awards

● Scholarship to Defense, CAPF personnel and their dependents

● Special Scholarship to Toppers of Education Boards

● Scholarship to Orphan Applicants/ Person with Certain Disability

●      COVID-19 Frontline Scholarship for wards of Doctors, Nurses, Media personnel, Police personnel, Bank employees, and many more.

Admissions 2020 – Financial and other support Initiatives

Lovely Professional University is closely monitoring the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and has taken multiple initiatives to support prospective candidates to pursue their higher studies in best possible ways: –

a. COVID-19 FRONTLINE Scholarship Scheme: LPU has introduced a Rs.20 Crore support initiative named ‘COVID-19 FRONTLINE Scholarship’, to honor the Covid-19 frontline workforce (i.e., Doctors, Nurses, Paramedical staff, Civicstaff, Police personnel, and others as per categories listed) and support the survivors by offering scholarship for self and wards. Click here to know more.

b. Flexible and Easy Payment options for admissions:

i. Provisional admission by paying a nominal fee of INR 10,000 in all Programmes (except MBA Hons, and M.A (Hindi/Punjabi)).

ii. Flexible payment options to support students during these pressing times by extending the usual balance payment period of 10-15 days after the allotment of the seat before the start of classes. 

c. Higher Scholarship:

i. Augmenting support to deserving candidates, LPU has further expanded the scholarship bracket even to facilitate candidates scoring a minimum of 70%marks in the qualifying exam. Click here to check new scholarship brackets

ii. Scholarship will also be offered based on qualification previous to eligibility qualification.

For example, someone seeking admission in B. Tech can seek scholarship based on 10+2 (Eligibility Qualification) or 10th (Qualification previous to 10+2)

d. Online Proctored test/interview from Home: LPU has also initiated the conduct of remotely proctored online LPUNEST (Eligibility Exam) from home and remote video Interviews for admission.
