MHT CET 2016: Exam will be conducted on May 5

Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) 2016 date has been announced by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra for the academic session 2016-2017.

The exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 5, 2016 (Thursday).

MHT-CET 2016 will be conducted for all Health Sciences, Engineering and Pharmacy degree courses for the academic year 2016-2017.

The official notification regarding the MHT-CET 2016 eligibility criteria and application procedure will be notified soon on the official website here: dtemaharashtra.gov.in.

The candidates, who have cleared Class 12 or equivalent and want to pursue undergraduate programmes in Maharashtra engineering colleges, can apply for MHT-CET 2016.

According to the officials, the Maharashtra higher and technical education department, the MH-CET will replace JEE Main from 2016, to offer admissions to first year Bachelor of Engineering (B.E)/Bachelor of Technology programmes.

MHT-CET  is a state level medical entrance exam. It is conducted to offer admissions in medical courses such as MBBS, BHMS, BAMS, BUMS, BDS, BPTh, BASLP, BOTh, BP&O and BSc. Nursing.
