Big relief for the school students, NCERT will cut off the syllabus by half from 2019 academic session, according to HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar. Reducing the syllabus would lead the students to focus on other activities for their all-round development. They will get free time for other activities.
The current NCERT school syllabus will be halved from 2019, which will reduce the workload on the students. The reduction in the syllabus will be applicable from class I-XII.
The young minds will not have to carry extra weight on their shoulders. He said a Bill in this regard will be considered in Parliament in the next part of the Budget Session.
