The exam conducted as per the COVID guidelines had tougher paper than compared to the earlier one.
As per the Supreme Court order, NEET exam for students who were COVID positive and couldn’t appear for the country’s largest medical entrance examination, was conducted on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 by the National Testing Agency. In Kota, 5 students took the exam at Lawrence and Mayo Public School in Srinathpuram. The exam conducted as per the COVID guidelines had tougher paper than compared to the earlier one.
Brajesh Maheshwari, Director of ALLEN Career Institute, said that compared to the previous exam, the examination for COVID-positive students was somewhat difficult. Along with being conceptual, the paper was somewhat lengthy too.
If talk about the topic, then 27 questions in chemistry were easy, 15 were mediocre and 3 questions were difficult. From Class 11, 21 questions were asked and from class 12, 24 questions were asked. In physics, 35 questions were of easy level and 10 were of medium level. The questions from difficult category did not appear in this paper. From class 11, 17 questions were asked and from class 12, 28 questions were asked. Similarly, a total of 90 questions were asked in Biology, out of which from class 11 there were 48 questions and from class 12 there were 42 questions. 37 questions were from easy category and 49 questions were from medium category.
There are 4 questions which were of difficult category. Some questions also had conceptual and printing mistake, such as there was no underline below the gynoecium, only progesterone was written in the corpus luteum question, which is incorrect, there was confusion in the answer of one of the questions in genetics due to language. When compared to the biology paper from September 13, the paper was lengthy and tough.
