What is NEET PG ?
NEET PG – NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST FOR POST GRADUATION EXAM (For Admission to 50% MD/MS/DIPLOMA COURSES Seats of All India Quota)
NBE – National Board of Examinations conducts this medical entrance examination to provide opportunities to all the candidates who dream to continue higher study in medical field. Candidates who want to take admission in medical for post graduate, they apply for this examination. This examination gets conducted on the yearly basis. NEET-PG is conducted to provide admission in MS and MD diploma (50% All India quota seats) in the various government and private colleges across the nation.
Duration of the Courses:
MD/MS: | Three years from the date of admission. Candidates are eligible for admission after completion of compulsory rotating internship. |
Diploma: | Two years from the date of admission after completion of compulsory rotating internship. |
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR NEET-PG
A candidate, who holds M.B.B.S. degree from a recognized medical college or a foreign medical degree included in the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and who has obtained full registration either from the Medical Council of India or any of the State Medical Councils after completing compulsory rotating internship shall be eligible to take this examination.
