The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) Under Graduate (UG) 2019 exam has been postponed in Odisha in the wake of the aftermath of Cyclone Fani, which left the State massively devastated. The exam was scheduled to be held on Sunday, May 5. New dates will be announced soon. Students will be notified of another exam date when normalcy returns in the state.
In case a student for Odisha, who is not currently in Odisha and has a centre in any other state, the examination would be conducted as per the schedule – which is tomorrow.
As per the official notification, “NEET exam scheduled for 5th May in Odisha postponed as per the request of State Govt working on relief and rehabilitation work in the wake of Fani Cyclone. Revised dates for the exam in Odisha will be announced soon.”
