The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the exam of NEET UG 2019 on Monday, 20 May 2019 for Odisha, Karnataka & Siliguri.
According to ALLEN Career Institute Experts, the level of the NEET UG 2019 paper was easy; Biology was lengthy while Physics and Chemistry were of medium level.
NEET Paper was presented in 4 Codes
The biggest test conducted for admission to MBBS and BDS seats in medical colleges of the country, NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (NEET-UG) was concluded on Sunday (20th May 2019). For the first time, this examination was organized by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Mr. Brajesh Maheshwari, director of the Allen Career Institute, said that overall NEET 2019 paper was Easy. Physics, chemistry, and biology were all easy. According to the information gathered from the students, this year the paper came in 4 codes.
According to the experts, the paper was made keeping in mind the level of the exam. As many as 42,000 students today appeared the much awaited National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2019 exam in Odisha today. Earlier, the exam which is a basic requirement for admissions to MBBS/BDS courses in several India medical and dental colleges was postponed in view of the cyclone Fani which hit Odisha on May 3. The examination was held from 10 pm to 1 pm.
Physics paper was stated as moderate. In this, a total of 17 questions were asked by mechanical topic. In addition to this, 12 questions from Electrodynamics, 4 questions from Optics and 6 from Modern and Electronics, 4 from Heat Topic and 2 questions from SHM & Waves were asked. 19 questions were of the easy level and 20 were of the medium level while 6 questions were tough. 23 questions came from Class 11th syllabus and 22 questions were asked from the 12th Class syllabus.
NEET 2019 exam was easier than the year 2018. Paper comprised of 17 in physical chemistry, 16 questions in Inorganic chemistry and 12 questions were asked from organic chemistry. There are 21 questions from Class 11th syllabus and 24 questions from the syllabus of Class XII. Total 18 questions were easy, level of 20 questions was moderate and level of 7 questions was difficult. Chemistry had a total of 45 questions. From the 11th Class syllabus, 3 questions from Organic, 9 questions from Inorganic, and 9 questions from Physical were asked. While from Class 12th syllabus, 9 questions from Organic, 7 from Inorganic, and 8 questions from Physical were asked.
According to ALLEN Experts, the paper level of biology in NEET 2019 was average. 47 questions were asked from the syllabus of the 11th-grade while 43 questions were asked from the 12th class syllabus. Paper was NCERT based. There were 17 questions from Genetics plus biotechnology.
The ministry of Higher Education had earlier rescheduled the NEET for Odisha students on the request of Odisha government in view of the severe cyclonic storm Fani. The exam was held across the country on May 5. The rescheduled exam held today and the test paper was based on NCERT. It was moderate in nature. Most of the questions were already discussed in our classroom coaching and from our modules.
