NEET-UG 2020 Admit Card to be released in the second week of July


The National Testing Agency will release the admit card for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2020 most likely on 11 July. NEET -UG 2020 admit card will be released 15 days before the conduct of examination on the official websites www.nta.ac.in and ntaneet.nic.in.

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is held for undergraduate admissions to medical and allied courses across India. NEET UG 2020, which was to be conducted on 3 May 2020 had to be postponed due to the extraordinary circumstances arising from COVID-19 pandemic. The NTA has now decided that NEET-UG 2020 will be held on 26 July 2020 (Sunday) from 2.00 PM to 5.00 PM.

The admit card for the exam can be downloaded till the exam date. To download NEET-UG Admit Card 2020, candidates need to enter their NEET Application Number and Date of Birth. The candidates must carry the printout of the admit card during the exam. Also, a passport size photo and a valid photo identity certificate (ID) are required to be taken along. A PDF copy of the admit card will also be sent to the registered email of the applicant. If the candidates are unable to download the admit card or there is any discrepancy in the admit card then they will have to contact the official helpline number.

NEET-UG 2020 offline entrance exam will be conducted in about 155 cities. The exam will be conducted in two national and nine regional languages, which include English, Hindi, Assamese, Gujarati, Marathi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Odia, Bengali and Urdu. The application forms for the exam were available from 2 to 6 January 2020. NTA has received a total of 16.84 lac registrations, with 2,28,829 registered students, Maharashtra having the highest number of applicants. Through NEET-UG 2020 offline examination, candidates will be admitted to 76,928 MBBS, 26,949 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH, 525 BVSC, 1205 AIIMS MBBS and 200 JIPMER MBBS seats.
