NEET UG 2022: 2nd Round of All India Quota Counseling Begins

Seat Matrix Released, Choice Filling Till 8. Seats Available in the form of Seat Matrix, Clear Vacancy & Virtual Vacancy for the Second Round Counseling of MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing

MCC also released the NEET UG 2022 All India Quota MBBS and BDS seat matrix on its official portal late on Thursday night. With this, MCC has started the NEET UG 2022 All India Quota Online Second Round Counseling.

5805 MBBS Seats of Govt Sector Medical Colleges & 507 BDS Seats of Dental Colleges Announced

Allen Career Institute’s career counseling expert Parijat Mishra said that the online second round counseling has been released according to the clear vacancy seat matrix category, in which 5805 MBBS seats of government sector medical colleges and 507 BDS seats of dental colleges have been announced.  

This also includes 516 MBBS seats in AIIMS and 2431 MBBS seats in the deemed region medical colleges, including an additional 784 MBBS seats for NRI quota and 1091 seats for BDS.

23 MBBS and 21 Dental seats, Indraprastha University 6 MBBS and 44 Dental seats under the internal quota clear vacancy seat of Delhi University will also be filled through this counseling.

There are 14 MBBS and 56 dental seats in Banaras Hindu University, and 24 MBBS and 13 dental seats are available at Aligarh Muslim University.

50 MBBS seats are available in JIPMER Pondicherry which includes 40 seats for All India Quota and 10 MBBS seats locally.

Similarly, 72 MBBS seats in ESIC Medical College and 20 BDS seats reserved for children of ESIC cardholders and 497 seats for B.Sc Nursing Honors will also be filled through this counseling. 

Choice Filling also Commences

Parijat Mishra said that along with the release of the seat matrix, the process of choice filling has also started, which will run from 3 November to 8 November. Therefore, students must also check the fees of the respective college while filling their desired choice. Lock the choice only after filling in all the choices carefully, as once the choice is submitted, no changes can be made to it. Students can lock by filling in the choice till November 8. If the choices are not locked by 11.55 pm on November 8, all the choices will be auto-locked. The second round of seat allotment information will be issued on November 11 and candidates can print the allotment letter online.  After the allotment is issued, the students will have to appear in the allotted medical college from November 12 to November 18 with the original certificates. Here along with the original certificates, two sets of self-attested photocopies and fees will also have to be deposited.
