2. Syllabus for NEET-UG 2024

The NEET-UG syllabus is primarily based at the NCERT curriculum for class 11 and 12. The syllabus is divided into 3 sections:

  • Physics: 45 Questions
  • Chemistry: 45 Questions
  • Biology: 90 Questions (45 Botany + 45 Zoology)

It Covers the Subsequent Topics and Topics:

  • Physics: Mechanics, Optics, Thermodynamics, Electromagnetism, modern-day Physics, and greater.
  • Chemistry: bodily Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Natural Chemistry, and Environmental Chemistry.
  • Biology: Zoology and Botany, which include subjects like Genetics, Ecology, Cell Biology, and Human physiology.

3. NEET-UG 2024 Exam Pattern:

The NEET-UG 2024 examination will be a pen-paper-based exam. Exam duration will be 3 hours and 20 minutes. The question paper accommodates two sections: segment A and section B.

Physics:

  • Section A: 35 Questions (a hundred and forty Marks)
  • Phase B: 15 Questions (only 10 to be tried for 40 Marks)
  • General: 45 Questions (a hundred and eighty Marks)

Chemistry:

  • Section A: 35 Questions (one hundred forty Marks)
  • Segment B: 15 Questions (simplest 10 to be tried for 40 Marks)
  • Total: 45 Questions (180 Marks)

Biology:

  • Phase A: 35 Questions (one hundred forty Marks)
  • Phase B: 15 Questions (handiest 10 to be tried for 40 Marks)
  • Total: 45 Questions (180 Marks)

Zoology:

  • Segment A: 35 Questions (one hundred forty Marks)
  • Phase B: 15 Questions (handiest 10 to be tried for 40 Marks)
  • Total: 45 Questions (one hundred eighty Marks)

Grand total: 180 Questions (720 Marks)

All questions in the NEET exam are of multiple-desire type.

Question Pattern:

The examination primarily capabilities more than one-desire questions (MCQs). Every question is accompanied through four answer alternatives, and candidates should pick out the perfect one.

Exam Length:

The full duration of the NEET UG examination is three hours. Efficient time management is important to ensure that candidates can attempt all questions inside the allocated time-frame.

4. Marking Scheme

The NEET-UG 2024 marking scheme is as follows:

  • Each correct answer is offered four marks.
  • One mark is deducted for each incorrect solution.
