The date of the NEET 2021 exam has been announced, the National Level Examination is scheduled for 1st August 2021. NEET aspirants are left with more than 100 days to amp up their preparation. In these remaining days, they can revise all the topics of the three subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) in a very effective manner. Here are a few tips from Brajesh Maheshwari Sir, Director, ALLEN Career Institute:
In the subject, you have to emphasize solving more and more questions while mastering all the essential concepts. Instead of memorizing the solutions/ answers, you must focus more on how to solve the questions. There are more than 40 numerical questions out of 45 questions in physics, so you should develop speed and accuracy for proper calculation. Important topics have to be revised well based on the number of questions from each topic that have appeared in the NEET exam in previous years. 5-5 questions are coming every year, from topics like Modern Physics and Thermal Physics; students are advised to prepare them thoroughly.
The level of paper in chemistry is mostly average to easy. Now let’s talk about how to strategize to ace chemistry in the remaining time? You should not read any new literature at all; you should focus on meticulously repeating what you have read earlier and go through your self-prepared notes. NEET exam has almost equal questions from the three parts of Chemistry, Organic and Inorganic and Physical Chemistry, so all three are equally important. In Inorganic and Organic Chemistry, the principle has been repeated; it is essential to understand the concepts and remember some important reactions and points. The theory in Physical Chemistry is also very important cause the theory will help you solve the questions quickly. You will able to figure out the important topics by solving the question papers of the last 10 years.
To increase the chances of your selection in NEET, you must try your best to score more marks in the biology paper. From now on, you can start the correct strategy to achieve more by identifying weak topics in biology, making a list of them, and putting all your energy into strengthening them. If you fall behind on any topic, you can correct that in the time available in hand. Suppose you have covered the entire syllabus by the of your exam. In that case, your confidence will automatically be increased for the subject. For those topics which are strong, you should make the best revision strategy. Never stop revising; before forgetting any topic, you should revise it. Along with that, the more forgettable topics should be prepared separately by jotting down their short notes. NCERT should be read very carefully in biology.
You have to take care of your physical and mental health as well. Take special care of eating, drinking, and cleanliness. Keep studying with full enthusiasm. With your three months of hard work and dedication, you can become a doctor with an excellent medical college degree.
