On the occasion of Children’s Day, 3 students of ALLEN received National Child Award

ALLEN National Child Award Winners

On the occasion of Children’s Day, 3 students of ALLEN have been awarded with the National Child Award. President Pranab Mukherjee presented the award to the students in a ceremony on Monday at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

According to the Director of ALLEN Career Institute, Sh Naveen Maheshwari, students of ALLEN Pre Nurture & Career Foundation Division Kota, Shibajyoti Choudhary (Class 8), Sovesh Mohapatra (Class 9) and Stuti Khandwala (Class 10) have been awarded with this prestigious title. This award has been conferred upon them for their exceptional achievements in different fields.

Shibajyoti Choudhary designed a new stove in the Science Fair, which shows a 5 percent increase in efficiency of LPG stoves. This model stood second in the CBSE regional Science Exhibition at the national level. Shibajyoti was also declared the National Winner in Google Code for “pool car business” idea. At the same time environmentally awarded the 2015 prize. Also he received the environment friend award 2015.

National Child Award winners with President Pranab Mukherjee

Sh Naveen Maheshwari further stated that ALLEN’s student Sovesh Mohapatra developed the “Domestic Power Plant For Multiple Usage”. This model has been awarded at the national and international level. In the year 2016, Sovesh was the only Indian student to participate in the “International Young Inventor Project Olympiad” organized by the Government of Georgia. Apart from this, he also received “Unbeatable Young Scientist Award 2015” by the Government of India’s Department of Science and Technology. He also won the Poster Presentation of the 23rd Children Science Congress 2015. Sovesh has also written 2 books namely ‘Between Smiles and Tears’ and ‘Love Aglo’.

He added that Studti Khandwala, a student of class 10 studying at ALLEN Career Institute has gained top positions in Bharatnatyam and Drawing at the National and International Examinations. Moreover she has won the National Cyber Olympiad twice, bagged the second position in NSONSO National Cyber Olympiad twice in the first and second, has been the NCO’s ASSET Book Winner and an ALLEN Champ. She even participated in International Young Mathematics Convention and won a silver medal twice. Stuti also scored 99 percentile in PSAT by College Board USA.
