A great opportunity for Schools and Students studying in classes 5th  to 10th to win certificates, prizes and an all-expenses paid educational trip to Singapore ! Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA) under the aegis of Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India, is inviting applications for PCRA National Competitions 2017 in Essay, Quiz and Painting.

PCRA has been creating mass awareness towards conservation of petroleum products, promoting fuel-efficient equipment and helping the government by proposing policies and strategies for petroleum conservation.
Previously, In August 2016, an all India Essay & Painting competition was conducted by PCRA attracting massive participation, focusing on the objective of inculcating a sense of environmental responsibility in young minds. The winners were awarded attractive prizes along with a study tour of Japan, to learn about the advancements and efforts made towards petroleum conservation and energy efficiency in developed countries.

Eligibility:

Only schools in India recognized by Central & State Boards of India, can participate according to the following-

  • Essay Competition – Students studying in classes 7th to 10th
  • Painting Competition -Students of classes 5th to 7th (Junior) & Students of classes 8th to 10th (Senior)
  • Quiz Competition – Students of classes 8th to 10th
