PSU’s are the government-owned corporations, termed as Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) in India. The latest trend among many PSU’s is recruitment through GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering). 27+ PSU’s like Power Grid, NTPC, BPCL, HPCL, GAIL etc have signed an MOU for Recruitment through GATE 2015, because the test not only examines the technical skills, but also the logical and analytical ability of a person.
PSU Recruitment through GATE is in numerous ways advantageous for both the companies and the aspirants. GATE being a single exam serves as an advantage to engineering students by saving their time and money to prepare for different exams of each company while companies get to recruit some of the best students who have qualified in one of the toughest exams in the country.
Eligibility Criteria:
- PSU applicants applying through GATE 2016 must have applied and appeared for GATE 2016 exam in their respective branch of study.
- GATE 2016 Registration Number will be required.
- Applicant can get Registration Number from the GATE 2016 Admit Card from December 17, 2015 onwards.
