Rajasthan State NEET-UG Counselling 2023 – Second Round Counselling Schedule Released

Application Form Process For Second Round Counselling Has Been Issued On Board’s Official Website

Rajasthan NEET-UG Medical and Dental Admission Counselling Board Jaipur have released the schedule of second round counselling of Rajasthan Medical and Dental College, and its application form process on its official website.

According to a notice of the board, the application process of Rajasthan NEET-UG 2023 application form for the candidates, included in the second counselling for the first time, will run from 16 to 19 August. For this, the candidate must fill Part-I and Part-II of the application form.

Those candidates, who had completed the application form and application process in the first round in July, now there is no need for them to make a new registration in this second round.

The available seat matrix for second round counselling will be released on August 23 according to the candidates’ category. It is noteworthy that at the time of the first round of counselling, 4709 seats for MBBS in government and private medical colleges and 1292 seats for dental colleges were announced in Rajasthan.

In this, 3219 seats of MBBS government medical colleges were included, which included 2058 free seats, 780 paid seats and 381 NRI quota seats. There were a total of 1490 seats in private medical colleges, including 1261 common seats, and 229 management quota seats. Similarly, 42 seats of Government Dental College were included. On the other hand, 1085 common seats and 165 management seats were included in private dental colleges.

Choice Filling For Second Round Counseling From August 21 to 25


The process of choice filling of second round counselling will run from August 21 to August 25 and both the candidates registered in the first round of counselling and the new registered candidates of the second round will have to complete the choice filling process.

The previously submitted choices will not be valid in this round, so the candidates registered in the first round must submit their new desired choices. The candidates who are satisfied with their first round allotted seat, there is no need to fill any new choices further.

Only those candidates of the first round have to process this choice submission, who have not been allotted any seat in the first round, or who are not satisfied with the allotted college of the first round and now they want to upgrade to the new college, so these types of candidates should also take special care of these things.

Candidates have to print their final application form on August 26, in which their second round submitted and saved choices will also appear.

Security Deposits For Counselling

According to the instructions mentioned in the notice issued on the website, the counselling security deposit of Rs 10,000 for government MBBS and BDS, and Rs 2 lakh for private medical counselling has been kept for general and general EWS category students.

Along with this, the counselling security deposit fee for government MBBS and BDS for ST, SC, OBC, MBC has been kept at Rs 5,000 and for private medical at Rs 2 lakh. The counselling security deposit fee for BDS course of private dental colleges has been kept at Rs 10,000. Students will be able to fill their desired choices only after depositing the counselling registration fee.

While filling the desired choice, the students must also keep an eye on the fees of the concerned college. The choices submitted by the students will be auto-locked on August 25 at 2 PM. The seat allotment information for the second round will be released on August 28. After this, the candidates will be able to print their online allotment letter from 29 August to 4 September.

After the allotment is issued, the candidates who have been allotted Government Medical College will have to appear in SMS Medical College Jaipur from 31st August to 4th September with their original certificates. After the release of the allotment, the candidates who have been allotted Government Dental, Private Medical, and Private Dental College will have to appear in RUHS Dental College Jaipur from 31st August to 4th September with original certificates.

Along with the original certificates, candidates must bring two sets of self-attested photocopies and demand draft or online payment slip. 1st round joining candidates who have not got any upgradation in this 2nd round counselling need not report for re-joining.

According to the guidelines of the National Medical Commission, the academic session of medical colleges will start from September 1, 2023.
