Seminar conducted by Lovely Professional University at ALLEN Career Institute, Kota

Choosing the right career can change a life. In order to guide the students about various career options, Lovely Professional University organized a seminar for Pre-Engineering Aspirants of Allen Career Institute, Kota on 22nd December 2019.

The seminar started with the lightening of the lamp. Sh. Jeevan Jyoti Sir (Senior Faculty, ALLEN Career Institute) was present during the occasion. He said that ALLEN aims in providing all possible facilities to the students. Career Guidance Seminars are part of it. Such seminars not only provide suitable career choices but also help students become self- aware of their strengths and weaknesses.

In the Seminar, Dr Rajeev Sobti (Professor & Dean of Computer Science & Engineering Dept. at Lovely Professional University) through the presentation, informed about various activities conducted at LPU University. He gave information about various courses offered by the university, their benefits, placements etc. He further added that students get admissions in LPU through the entrance exam. Scholarships are also given based on the student’s merit. Along with academics, students at LPU are involved in extra co-curricular activities. About 30 thousand students are studying in Lovely Professional University.

Addressing the students, Sachin Sidhara (Assistant Professor, Soft Skill Department, Lovely Professional University) explained how important personality development is to a student. He made students aware of various aspects of personality development. Puneet Mangla (Marketing head, Rajasthan Region, Lovely Professional University) told the students how life can be improved. He said that in today’s scenario students need to do smart work. The choice of career should depend on the interest of the student, it will help them to perform better and succeed in life.
