The only piece of land was the source of income in the family, which was not enough. With no other source of earning, both the Parents had to work as labourers to pay for the education of their children. As a result of this hard work, the eldest son Hemant got good marks in his NEET exam. Hemant has now taken admission in MBBS in Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS), Jaipur.
Hemant Kumar Swami, a resident of Peeplu village in Tonk district, has done his two years of preparation for NEET in Allen Career Institute Kota. He managed to secure 16742 Rank in General and 270th rank in SC category. The whole village is very happy with the Hemant’s success because Hemant will be the first student of the village who will become a doctor. After MBBS, He wants to do PG in surgery. He said that he wants to enable medical facilities in his village after completing the studies.

Parents worked as Labourers
Father Tarachand Swami and mother Manraj Devi told that there was no other source of income in the family. The family was running on their daily wages. Father worked as a labourer in NREGA. If there’s no work in NREGA, they would work in others’ fields. Apart from this, Manraj Devi used to do other works. Hemant has three siblings. His younger sister is studying in class 11 and two younger brothers are in 6th and 7th grade.
Studied in government residential school
Hemant passed the 10th and 12th class from the residential high school in Kothitmam village of Tonk district. He has been smart since the beginning. He scored 82.33% in 10th and in 12th, 81.20% marks were scored. On the basis of the marks, selection for the residential school was done. He completed his education there from Class 9 to 12th. Prior to this, he completed his education from the government school of the village.
Borrowed Money to provide education
After passing 12th, the teachers of the school advised to prepare for the NEET, but the arrangement of money was a challenge for the father. He sent Hemant to Kota to prepare for his exam, with borrowed money. Despite not getting success in the first attempt and weak economic conditions, Hemant’s father’s courage did not break. Hemant tried for the second time. Seeing his talent and passion, Allen gave him a concession in his coaching fees.
