True passion and hard work always help us realize our dreams, no matter how challenging the circumstances are. Something similar happened with Champalal, a resident of of Naurwa village of Jalore. He has made his parents and friend Khejaram elated with his success in the recently announced results of NEET 2017 and is now on the path to becoming a doctor. Son of a Daily Wage Worker Father Kaluram and MNREGA labourer mother Shanti Devi, Champalal, a student of ALLEN Career Institute has secured 143rd rank in the SC category as per the results of NEET released by the CBSE a few days back. The family that consists of 4 brothers and 1 sister along with parents, is happy as his hard work and dedication has paid off. Champalal’s success is also a matter of pride for the village, as he will be the first person to study in the government medical college from the village. Another student from the same village is pursuing MBBS from a private medical college.
Talking about his family conditions, Champalal added, “I am the eldest brother. My Father is an artisan and is the only one who runs the family. Due to unfortunate circumstances, even my Mother has worked as an MNREGA labourer. Our house is only half constructed. No one owns a smart phone in my family. We own a 2 bigha farmland. My Mother is illiterate and father has studied till 5th class.
Performance kept on improving

After this, he went to Jodhpur’s government state Mahatma Gandhi Higher Secondary School to study till the 12th and secured 69% marks. Watch the Success Story of Champalal:
Friend came to the rescue
A major portion of Champalal’s success is accredited to Kota. His friend Kheraj Chaudhary proved to be his guiding light, an ex student of ALLEN, who himself has come out as a winner being despite being a son of a porter at Jodhpur’s railway station. Kheraj also studied in Kota and got admitted to a medical college fighting the challenges life threw at him. Kheraj who has become an inspiration for many, is currently studying at Jodhpur medical College and is helping other students like him to fight their circumstances and emerge victorious. Both of them met during their studies in Jodhpur. On realizing Champalal’s potential, Kheraj adviced him to come to Kota for pre medical preparation. Here he took admission in ALLEN career Institute for which his father borrowed money. Later, owning to their economic conditions, the institute waived of his fees and encouraged him to work towards developing his talent.
Dreams of teaching the children of his village.
“At the moment I want to focus on completing my MBBS. I wish to complete my specialization in neurology. Along with this, I want to do something for my village too. I wish to teach the children of my village once I become a doctor. Village is still lacking awareness because of which so many talented students remain without getting proper resources. I want to make them aware and help them study as per their potential so that even they can fulfill the dreams of their families,” says Champalal.
