Dr. Rishav Bansal had bagged AIR- 03 in AIIMS 2008 Medical Entrance Examination
Dr. Rishav Bansal currently working as a senior resident in AIIMS, New Delhi. Son of a doctor duo of a small town, Dholpur in Rajasthan, Rishav Bansal has himself become a doctor to serve the society with all that he has learned till now.
Having known the hard work and guidance required in the field, it was his parents’ decision only to find him a good coaching institute. And ALLEN with its strong repute of the best coaching institute became their first choice.
A Decade ago, the resident of a small town in Rajasthan, Dholpur, Rishav Bansal set off on this journey of hard work and success. Cracking the toughest exam with AIR-3 and then studied in the college of his dreams, AIIMS, New Delhi. He completed MBBS from AIIMS, Delhi in the year 2013 and then pursued M.D. from the same college in 2016.
With a total experience of 2.5 years in the field of Geriatric Medicine, he is currently working as a senior resident in AIIMS-Delhi.
Geriatrics or Geriatric Medicine is a specialty that focuses on treating the medical aspects of elderly people (=>60 years old). It aims to promote health by preventing and treating diseases and disabilities in older adults.
The noblest of professions that becoming a Doctor is, it sure acted as Rishav’s only motivation that kept him going over the years. After having spent almost 10 years in the medical field, first learning and then treating the patients, Rishav believes it’s time for him to give back to society.
The memories of a place or time may become dim in our minds, but the experience that our heart feels could not be forgotten and stays with us for life.
Recollecting the memories of his days at ALLEN Rishav says “Frankly speaking, I didn’t face any challenges and my journey in ALLEN was very smooth.”
He adds that studying at ALLEN was the best decision and that after joining ALLEN he became more target-oriented in his studies. His efficacy improved and the results made it quite evident.
To achieve something big in life, you need to stick to your target and have your eyes fixed on it until you actually reach for it. This commitment is what Rishav believes matters in your preparation. He says “Sustained commitment towards our goals is the theory of success”.
“My message is very clear. Please avoid any distractions while preparing for entrance exams. The sacrifice that you make in this one year is much smaller than the perks and excitement that awaits you when you enter your medical college”.
His motto is simple: “STUDY HARD, ENJOY HARDER”.
