ALLENite Mridul Agarwal has become a household name by scoring the highest percentage in the IIT-JEE entrance exam. A Classroom student of ALLEN Career Institute has attained a dream position of lakhs of students. Mridul has topped the chart by scoring 348 out of 360 marks and 96.66 percent.
“There was always a desire to prepare for IIT-JEE as this is considered the most prestigious exam. But the desire got wings at ALLEN, where I got exposed to the best academic system”, says Mridul Agarwal.
His strategy was to have long-term targets and then to break them into daily, achievable goals. Mridul planned the time that he would devote to each subject, calculated the time required to cover all the topics, and made sure that he had a specific plan of covering all the topics.
Mridul said, “Notes were essential for me. Although a tedious job but pays rich dividends as examination approaches. It helps in the quick revision and organization of the study materials. Patience and perseverance are a sine qua non for the IIT-JEE entrance exam. Maintaining consistency in studies is essential, and I tried to be balanced and have equanimity during ups and downs. It is essential that we follow the syllabus strictly and keep our resources limited.”‘
There’s no one formula, but self-analysis, and trusting your institute and mentors is vital when there’s an overload of material in the market.
Mridul was never a studious person; he believes in living life to the fullest. He even went on a trip two days prior to JEE- Advanced exam. Also, he never got carried away with his achievements; he made a point to celebrate it for only one day.
Mridul secured 98.2 percent in class 10th and 98.66 percent in class 12th. He scored 428 marks in BITSAT along with securing All India Rank-1 in JEE Main. Mridul is an NTSE scholar and has secured an All India Rank 1 in KVPY. He got selected for OCSC Camp for IJSO in class 9 and OCSC Camp for Physics in class 11th and 12th. Also, he has been selected for OCSC Camp for Astronomy in class 12th along with IOQP, IOQC, IOQA, and IOQM.
