-Parth Dwivedi of ALLEN Achieved All India 35 rank in JEE-Advanced
-Suffering from Meningoencephalitis, Attended Exam Taking Risk
Parth was preparing for JEE-Advanced from ALLEN Career Institute by staying in Kota for the last two years. He had topped in Rajasthan scoring 100 percentile NTA in JEE Mains. He was all prepared for JEE Advanced when right 25 days before the exam, he had fever. He took medicines but the fever did not subside. His corona test was negative but the typhoid antigen was positive. On 8th September, owing to an unbearable headache, he came to Delhi along with parents for treatment. The diagnosis revealed that he was suffering from Meningoencephalitis disease. It is a rare viral infection which causes inflammation of the brain nerves. He was admitted in the ICU on September 12. Even during this time, Parth didn’t part ways with his books. He also gave ALLEN Online Test while staying in the ICU.
Parth told that he had to suffer a lot during the treatment. For the test, the doctors used to take the fluid from the spine, so there was a lot of pain because of which he had to lie all day. Later, he was shifted from ICU to private ward. He said that he couldn’t let his hard work get defeated by this illness so he decided to appear for the exam. At first, his parents were against the decision but seeing his courage, eventually they also supported. The hospital management also cooperated and allowed to appear in the examination. On 27 September, he went to give the JEE Advanced exam. It was not possible to sit for six hours in both shifts, but Parth had committed himself to cracking the exam, so he went on solving the paper while bearing the pain. The paper was a bit tough but easier than ALLEN’s practice test. So, there was not much trouble.
Parth said that he revised the weak topics repeatedly and made them stronger. Earlier, he was afraid of organic chemistry, but with the support of ALLEN’s teachers, he developed a good command in the subject. There was a lot of support from ALLEN’s study material. Earlier in the KVPY, he had got All India 6th rank, and in JEE Main 2020 he had topped Rajasthan by scoring 100 percentile. Apart from being an NTSE Scholar, he was also selected for OCSC. Apart from this, he is also NSEP, NSEA and RMO qualified. He passed class10th with 97.4 and 12th class with 97.8 percent marks. He will ready to go to college soon after getting discharged from the hospital. After completing B-Tech, he wants to do something for the fellow countrymen.
– Kota not only helps students make a career but also teaches them to move forward by struggling. Parth is an example of this. He was ill, suffered pain but did not stop studying, took the exam and after that achieved better results. This is a learning for other students. – Naveen Maheshwari, Director, ALLEN Career Institute
