Tamil Nadu & Puducherry Class 10 Board Exams Cancelled: Read here for Complete Information

The Tamil Nadu government has decided not to hold any examination for the students of Class 10 and promote the students directly to the Class 11. Tamil Nadu Class 10 board exams were to be held from June 15. More than 9 Lac students were scheduled to appear for exams at 12,690 centres.

The students of class 10 and 11 will be promoted based on quarterly and half-yearly exam results as well as their attendance. While the decision regarding class 12 exams will be taken in the coming days.

Along with this Puducherry Class 10 board examination have also been cancelled. All the students will be promoted to the next class based on semester marks and attendance.

In March 2020, the Puducherry government had announced the cancellation of all examinations for students of Class 1-9 in the Union Territory as part of measures to contain the spread of COVID-19. The students were promoted to the next class without exams.
