Three Silver Medals bagged by ALLEN students in the 28th International Biology Olympiad

The episode of achieving success by the students of the ALLEN Career Institute continues. After the engineering and medical entrance examinations, ALLEN students of are now getting success in international Olympiad.

Students of ALLEN Career Institute received three silver medals in International Biology Olympiad (IBO) 2017 as per the result declared on Sunday. A team of 4 students represented India in which 3 participants were from ALLEN, who bagged silver medals. Apart from this, another student received the Bronze Medal

28th International Biology Olympiad (IBO) 2017 was held at Coventry, United Kingdom from 23 to 30 July in which a total of 272 students from 68 countries participated. The team of 4 students from each country represented their nation. ALLEN students viz. Stuti Khandwala (Class 10), Vudushi Varshney (Class 11) and Archit Gupta (Class 12) performed outstandingly at the different levels of this 7 day examination and proved their talent by bringing the silver medal for the nation.

After proving excellence in the first three stages, their selection was made in the International Olympiad team. Archit Gupta bagged AIR 2 in both AIIMS 2017 & NEET 2017.

In the third stage, Orientation cum Selection Camp for this Olympiad was organized in Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE), Mumbai to select the best students. In which selected students from across the country participated. Of these, the last 4 meritorious students were selected in the merit for the final round.
