A career guidance seminar was organized by Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) for ALLEN students on Sunday, 13th November 2016. The seminar conducted at ALLEN Samarth, Sadbhav Parisar, witnessed the gathering of more than 4 thousand students. The seminar which lasted for 2 hours addressed the maximum queries related to Engineering subjects of the students. The seminar started with the lamp lighting ceremony followed the address ale by Sh. Naveen Maheshwari, Director, ALLEN Career Institute. Sh. Naveen Maheshwari stated that VIT is providing the best of the education to the students all over the India. The VIT campus situated at Vellore is providing all the facilities at International Level to the students. Now VIT is even planning to expand in North India with their 2 new campuses.
VIT Vice President, Sh. G.V. Selvam was quoted saying, “If students wants there admission in IIT, NIT or VIT, this dream of them is not possible without Kota. Kota is preparing the future leaders for the nation. ALLEN Career Institute should be thanked by each and every one of us as it is not giving an environment like a coaching institute instead it is providing all the facilities like a top class university. The students coming in a uniform to study shows the great unity the institute has. He said that whether on basis of Caste, Language we are different but still we all are Indians. In the coming years India will definitely be the No. 1. To become No. 1 the leaders will be needed and Kota is fulfilling all such requirements of the nation. You all learn, read and move ahead in life and even try to learn soft skills. We should follow the path shown by Swami Vivekanand of “Understanding self and then act upon according to our skills”. Always remember whenever we face any trouble in life there is also a solution to that nearby, search that solution and face your all the problems.
VIT Admission Director, Dr. K. Maniwannam informed that currently, in VIT 34 courses are running for engineering and management students. Furthermore, VIT is starting 2 new campuses at Amravati and Bhopal as its new expansion plan for North India. Currently at VIT 32 thousand students are studying. Students can take admission at VIT by giving the entrance test. Last year in total 2 lakh 12 thousand students gave the entrance test.
