Celebrate International Women’s Day 2024
At ALLEN, there’s a squad of women who are not just participating but leading the charge. They’ve defied norms, broken stereotypes, redefined the idea of an Indian woman. And above all, inspired a whole new generation to dream big.
These are the women we want to and need to know more about. In honor of International Women’s Day, let’s read the stories of these “WOMEN of ALLEN”
Meet Dwija Patel, the girl who topped the charts at the JEE Main 2024 (Session 1). She is the All-India Female Topper. Dwija proves that the sky’s the limit with the right amount of grit and grind. Dwija D. Patel is a classroom student of ALLEN who topped in the Girls’ Category with a percentile score of 99.9991763.
Talking about her background, she is the daughter of a Maths teacher from Rajkot & a homemaker mother; she is a typical girl who became worthy of accolades with her extraordinary efforts.
From the clutches of child marriage, Dr Rupa Yadav broke free and made her name next to the doctor’s title. She is now an Outstanding MBBS graduate from the Government Medical College of Bikaner.
She faced challenges that would make most people crumble, but not Rupa. She turned her trials into triumphs. She wants to open her own hospital and serve the people who are deprived of medical facilities.
If you thought excelling in one field was an achievement, meet Stuti Khandwala, the woman who decided to break the norm and excel in… EVERYTHING.
Stuti’s mother Dr. Hetal left her dental practice to stay with her daughter during her preparation period. Stuti’s mother stood with her for 3 years in Kota.
A recent MIT 2023 graduate, Stuti is living proof that you can pursue all your passions and still succeed.
Sneha’s story is about giving life in the most literal sense.
Meet Sneha, whose heart is as big as her dreams. Sneha Nayak, an MBBS student, became a Liver donor to her father.
She donated 68% of her liver to her ailing father, who tragically could not survive.
However, Sneha did not let adversity deter her; instead, she returned to her studies at ALLEN Career Institute in Kota, cracked the NEET exam, and is now on her way to realizing her dream of becoming a doctor at Govt Medical College Sundargarh.
Last but not least, meet Dr. Anisha Agarwal, a resident doctor who once battled cancer. Currently, at Ascension Saint Joseph Hospital in Chicago, Anisha embodies the phrase “fight like a girl.”
In 2014, when she was preparing for AIPMT at ALLEN Kota, she was diagnosed with cancer, but she didn’t take this as a sign to stop. Rather, this fueled her ambition to be a doctor & research cancer.
After cracking AIPMT, she studied medicine at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Ajmer & then moved to the USA for cancer research.
These women of ALLEN remind us that no matter what the world throws your way, you have the power to redefine it. The future is indeed female.
