Kota once again brings glory to the nation
ALLEN Career Institute, Kota, has once again demonstrated its excellence in the field of Mathematics Olympiads, demonstrating its excellence across the country.
The results of the Regional Mathematical Olympiad (RMO) have been announced, and based on this exam, 229 ALLEN students have qualified for the Indian National Mathematical Olympiad (INMO). This achievement is not only a matter of pride for the institute but also demonstrates the strong foundation of Indian mathematical talent.
Vinod Kumawat, President of ALLEN Career Institute Private Limited, Kota, informed that the RMO exam is jointly organized by the Mathematics Teachers Association of India and the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE). RMO is the second stage of the selection process for the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO), after which selected students participate in the INMO.
The Mathematical Olympiad Programme (MOP) in India is conducted by the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE), on behalf of the National Board of Higher Mathematics (NBHM), Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India. The programme is conducted in five stages.
Thousands of students from across the country participate in this stage. This year, 1,198 ALLEN students successfully qualified for the second stage, RMO.
After the RMO, 1092 students from across the country were selected for INMO, of which 229 students are from Allen Career Institute.
INMO will be held nationwide on January 18, 2026. This stage is highly competitive and the best mathematical talents advance from here.
After INMO, selected students are invited to a special training camp.
After IMOTC, six students selected represent India.
The Indian team selected after INMO and IMOTC will participate in the International Mathematical Olympiad 2026. This prestigious international competition will be held in Shanghai, China in 2026, where promising Indian students will showcase their mathematical talent on a global stage.
