3 Students of ALLEN Career Institute won 2 Gold and 1 Silver medal in International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO-2015) held at Korea. IJSO is an exam which aims to promote interest in science among school students, exposing them to problem solving and critical thinking experimentation. Director Sh. Brajesh Maheshwari said that “Out of 6 students selected from all over the nation for the final round 3 were from ALLEN”. By showcasing the talent in natural science at International platform, institute’s classroom student Lakshya Sharma and Bhaskar Gupta won Gold Medal and Vidushi Varshney won Silver Medal. This year 41 countries participated in IJSO – 2015 .
ALLEN Pre-Nurture and Career Foundation (PNCF) Division Head Sh. Amit Gupta said that the 1st round of IJSO is conducted by Indian Association of Physics Teacher (IAPHO and in this round 300 students from different states are selected for the 2nd round. From here 30 gets shortlisted for the 3rd round through an examination.
The 3rd round is organized at Homi Baba Centre for Science Education, Mumbai after 20 days practical and theory training 6 students team is been shortlisted for representing India in IJSO finals.
