Third Round Reporting till July 8th
JoSAA counselling is underway for 59 thousand 917 seats in 121 institutes including Top IITs and NITs of the country. After the third round of seat allocation, students can do online reporting till 5 pm on July 8.
Students whose documents uploaded during online reporting are found to be deficient will have to respond to the query by 5 pm on July 9, otherwise their seat will be cancelled.

A Boy with AIR Rank 11,89,363 & A Girl Student with Rank 10,94,961 Got Admission in NIT
In the seat allocation of the third round of JEE counselling, a student with rank 11 lakh 89 thousand 363 from gender-neutral pool quota has been allotted civil branch from home state quota in NIT Sikkim in open category. Along with this, the closing rank of IIT from gender-neutral pool quota was 16 thousand 53 which is of Interdisciplinary Science five-year branch of IIT Dhanbad.
On the other hand, a student with rank 10 lakh 94 thousand 961 including super numerical seats from female pool quota has got civil branch from home state quota in NIT Sikkim in open category and her closing rank from female pool quota in IIT was 24 thousand 420 which is of Interdisciplinary Science five year branch of Dhanbad.

These students will undergo dual verification
Those students who have been allotted IIT to NIT and NIT to IIT seat in the third round, their documents uploaded in the second round seat allocation are being verified again through the new allocation system. Only after that their newly allotted seat will be confirmed.
On the contrary, those students who have already been allotted seats and have opted for float and slide, have been allotted IIT to IIT and NIT to NIT seat in the third round and their new seat has been confirmed on the basis of their previously verified documents.
All these students do not need to upload documents again in online reporting. Students can participate in further counseling by changing the float option to slide and freeze, and the slide option to freeze in each round of counseling.
