Rajasthan NEET-UG 2024: Stray Vacancy Round Counselling Update

Along with the Start of the Registration Process, the Complete Date Sheet of Counselling has also been Released

Under NEET-UG Counselling, the registration process for seat allotment of medical and dental colleges has started by Rajasthan NEET UG Medical and Dental Admission Counselling Board Jaipur. Registration will be from 24 to 26 October.

Along with the stray vacancy round Counselling registration, the candidates will also have to deposit the appropriate fee. Also, the candidates will have to submit their final registration form within this time limit.

Counselling Security Deposit

As per the instructions issued on the website, the Counselling security deposit for government MBBS government seat for all categories of students has been kept at Rs 50000, government MBBS management seat at Rs 2 lakh and Counselling security deposit for MBBS course in private medical college at Rs 5 lakh.

Counselling security deposit fee for BDS course in Government and Private Dental Colleges has been fixed at Rs. 10,000. Students will be able to fill their desired choices only after depositing the counselling security deposit fee.

Candidates, who have already deposited the above mentioned security deposit in the first, second and third rounds, need not deposit the security deposit again.

Eligibility for stray vacancy

Eligibility for stray vacancy will be as follows-

Registered candidates who have not received any allotment in the first, second and third rounds till now.
Registered candidates who got allotment in the first round but opted for exit with forfeit or candidates who were not upgraded in the second round. They resigned before 29th September and did not get any allotment in the third round as well.
Registered candidates who were allotted/upgraded in the second round but did not join the allotted college. They did not get any allotment in the third round of Rajasthan State Counselling.
New registered candidates who are participating in the stray vacancy round Counselling for the first time.
New re-registered candidates in the stray vacancy round Counselling (as per norms).
Candidates will be able to print their stray vacancy round Counselling registration form with choice filling on 27 October.

Important dates and process

This time all the registered candidates will have to appear personally in the Academic Block SMS Medical College Jaipur with their original documents, where all the original documents of these candidates will be deposited and a prescribed bond available on the website for the stray vacancy round will also have to be filled and submitted.

The information regarding allotment of stray vacancy round will be issued on 30 October and candidates will be able to deposit their allotment letter and fees between 30 October and 4 November. Candidates will have to appear at the Academic Block SMS Medical College, Jaipur with their original certificates between 4 November and 5 November.

Here, along with the original certificates, two sets of self-attested photocopies and the online payment slip will have to be brought along. Candidates who have not been allotted will be able to get their original documents back from the Academic Block SMS Medical College, Jaipur between 1 to 4 November.
