Third Round Reporting till July 4
JoSAA counseling is going on for 62 thousand 853 seats in 127 institutes, including IITs and NITs of the country. Students can do online reporting after the third round of seat allocation till 5 pm on July 4. Students whose documents uploaded during online reporting are found to be deficient will have to respond to the query by 5 pm on July 5, otherwise their seat will be cancelled.
Student with AIR 13 lakh 14967 Rank Got NIT
According to career counselling expert of ALLEN Career Institute, in the seat allocation of the third round of JoSAA counselling, a student with rank 13 lakh 14967 from gender neutral pool quota has been allotted mechanical branch from home state quota in NIT Mizoram in open category.
Along with this, the closing rank of IIT from gender neutral pool quota was 16664 which is of Intradisciplinary Science five-year branch of IIT Dharwad. On the other hand, a student with rank 10 lakh 2 thousand 85 including super numerical seats from female pool quota has got computer branch from home state quota in NIT Mizoram in open category. Along with this, the closing rank of IIT from female pool quota was 25549, which is of Physical Science five-year branch of Dhanbad.
These Documents will be Dual Verified
According to expert, the documents uploaded in the second round of seat allocation for those students who have been allotted IIT to NIT and NIT to IIT seats in the third round are being verified again by the newly allotted system. Only after that their newly allotted seat will be confirmed.
On the contrary, the students who have already been allotted seats and have chosen the option of float and slide have been allotted IIT to IIT and NIT to NIT seats in the third round and their new seat has been confirmed on the basis of their previously verified documents.
All these students are not required to upload documents again in online reporting. Students can participate in further counseling by changing the float option to slide and freeze and the slide option to freeze in each round of counseling.
