The Third Round Counselling Would Conclude on 10 October
Following the completion of the second round of counselling for the Rajasthan NEET UG 2025, the schedule for the third round of counselling for MBBS and BDS courses was released through an official notification on the official website.
Career Counselling Expert at ALLEN Career Institute stated that the registration process for the third round of counselling will be completely online and will begin on October 5th and continue through October 10th.
During this period, new first-time candidates will be required to fill out their registration form and pay the appropriate registration fee, which is Rs. 2500 for General, General EWS, and OBC, and Rs. 1500 for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. However, candidates already registered and enrolled in the first and second rounds of counseling are not required to register again for the third round.
State Merit List will be Released on 11th October
On 11th October, the Counselling Board will release the state merit list of registered candidates, which will include a combined list of General, General EWS, OBC, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Tribal, Scheduled Tribe, and PWD candidates, along with a separate category-specific list.
Following this, Candidates will be Required to Deposit a Security Deposit, Which is as Follows:
₹50,000 for General/EWS, SC/ST/ST-STA/OBC/MBC candidates opting for a government seat (MBBS course) in government medical colleges, government society medical colleges, RUHS CMS, and ESIC MC. ₹2,00,000 for candidates opting for a management seat (MBBS course) in government society colleges and RUHS CMS. ₹5,00,000/- for candidates opting for NRI seats (MBBS course) in Government colleges, Government Society colleges and RUHS CMS. ₹5,00,000/- for candidates opting for MBBS course in Private medical colleges. ₹10,000/- for candidates opting for BDS course in Government Dental Colleges (RUHS College of Dental Sciences) and Private Dental Colleges [Candidates who have deposited ₹2,00,000/- or ₹5,00,000/- will automatically be eligible to fill the choices for Government Medical/Dental Colleges, Government Society Medical Colleges, RUHS College of Medical Sciences, RUHS College of Dental Sciences, ESOCI Medical Colleges and Private Dental Colleges. Previously registered candidates and those allotted colleges in the first and second rounds are not required to make a fresh security deposit. However, candidates who registered for the first and second rounds but did not make a security deposit can now make the appropriate security deposit, which can be paid through debit card, credit card, net banking, and UPI.
The Process After Third Round Counselling Registration
On 11th October, the Counselling Board will release the seat matrix for the second round of counselling. Candidate choice filling will be completed between October 11th and October 13th, and the choices submitted by the candidates will be auto-locked at 11:45 pm on October 13th.
On October 17th, the Counselling Board will announce the seat allotment results for the second round of counselling on the website. College-allotted candidates will be required to appear in person at the Academic Block, Sawai Man Singh Medical College, Jaipur, between October 18th and October 22nd with their original documents and security deposit slips.
Candidates who participated in counselling rounds 1 and 2 and will be upgraded to counselling round 3 must also bring verified proof (online fee deposition slip) of their allotted college fees paid prior to counselling rounds 1 and 2.
Candidates’ original documents and related fees will be transferred directly to the Round 3 upgrade college within 24 hours of their in-person reporting. Any fee difference (as per allotted college) will also be required to be paid by the candidate additionally.
The Third Round Counselling Process will be as Follows:
Candidates admitted to all medical/dental colleges will be required to deposit one year’s tuition fee (security amount will be adjusted against the tuition fee) of their allotted college through electronic (online) mode only, into the bank account of the Chairman.
NEET UG Counselling Board 2025, which will then be handed over to the allotted college (please visit the website for fee details of all participating colleges). The receipt of such electronic transaction, duly verified by the bank, and the required bond must be submitted at the reporting desk of the respective allotted college.
- If a candidate joins his/her allotted seat in the third round of counselling, his/her security deposit will be adjusted against the tuition fees to be paid for the allotted college.
- If the candidate’s security deposit has not been forfeited or adjusted against the fees, it will be refunded to the respective bank account from which the security deposit was deposited after the counselling process is completed.
- If a candidate is allotted a seat in Round 3 and does not join the allotted college, his/her security deposit will be forfeited.
Furthermore, such candidates will not be eligible to appear in the stray vacancy round.
