Pranshu Shared his Success Strategy for NEET UG 2025
I, Pranshu Jahagirdar, am a resident of Bangalore and have been studying at ALLEN Career Institute since class 9. When I decided to prepare for NEET in 11th and 12th, it was the most important turning point in my life.
Living in a big city like Bangalore, I had many options, but I chose NEET because I wanted to give a purpose to my life – to serve the society and leave a positive mark on this earth.
Why Choose ALLEN?
I was already studying at ALLEN since Class 9 as my brother had studied there. The institute’s facilities—high quality benches, air conditioning in every class, regular doubt sessions and intense teacher involvement—inspired me to stick around. The doubt sessions, especially in Class 9 and 10, gave me a deeper understanding.
Beginning of Struggles
There is a general tendency to not take studies seriously until Class 10, and I was no exception. But the syllabus of Class 11 and 12 was much more intense and challenging.
I stayed away from social media and focused on my goal. I deactivated Instagram and other accounts to stay focused.
Stress and Solutions
There are good and bad days during preparation. When I used to go bad in a test, I would talk to teachers, friends and parents to boost my morale. My parents’ support was incredible – they never pressured me, they just encouraged me. I would set myself a target for the next test and never give up until I achieved it.
My Study Strategy
- 6 hours of self-study daily, along with classes
- 12–13 hours of study during holidays, in 3-hour blocks
- Revision after every break, which included playing football or talking to family
- ALLEN Study Material and Test Series
Both ALLEN study material and JEE questions series broadened my perspective. Their preparation material was perfect for both difficult and easy papers. Allen test series have variety, so I got to learn something new every time.
ALLEN App – A Game Changer
- With the help of ALLEN App I:
- Did my analysis after every test
- Checked the Mistake Improvement Book
- Created custom tests and worked on my weaknesses
- Got in-depth explanations and solutions for every topic
Last 30 Days Preparation
The last 30 days of NEET can be extremely stressful. I started meditating and maintained a mental balance. Revised short notes of formulas, graphs and key points from NCERT for Physics. Reread NCERT completely for Biology and Chemistry.
My message to NEET UG aspirants
- Don’t be afraid, it is natural to be nervous but confidence is important.
- Keep good company – who can help you achieve your goal.
- Trust the teachers – ALLEN’s system is very reliable.
- Don’t ignore test analysis, it is the key to real improvement.
Today when I look back, I miss my 11th and 12th days a lot. That time, hard work and struggle give me the strength to say proudly that I made the right decision.
Best wishes to all NEET aspirants! Have faith, work hard and believe in yourself. Success will surely kiss your feet.
