ALLEN Students Bags 3 Silver Medals in IESO Olympiad

3 Students Won 3 Silver and 2 Bronze Medals in Different Categories

Students of ALLEN Career Institute have once again proved their excellence in the International Olympiad. ALLEN students have won three silver and two bronze medals in the International Earth Science Olympiad held in China.

ALLEN Students Won 5 Medals in IESO Olympiad

Continuing the legacy of making country proud in Olympiads, ALLEN students have sparkled in the IESO Olympiad. It is not the first time when ALLEN students have won medal at the International Olympiads as there is a long list of their feat in the International Olympiads over the years.

Speaking about the achievement of the ALLEN students in IESO event, ALLEN’s President Vinod Kumawat said that the 18th International Earth Science Olympiad (IESO) was held from 7 to 17 August in which 3 students of ALLEN participated.

In Indian team of four students, there were 3 ALLEN students which included Apamnidhi Pandey, Charuvrat Bains and Priyanshi Ghanghas. In the final round, Apamnidhi won the silver medal in the ESP (Earth System Project) category while Charuvrat Bains won the silver medal in both ITFI (International Team Field Investigation) and ESP categories and the bronze medal in the individual test.

Similarly, Priyanshi Ghanghas won the bronze medal in the ITFI category. So in total, 3 ALLEN students won a total of 5 medals including 3 Silver medals and 2 bronze medals in IESO.

About IESO Olympiad

This Olympiad is organized by the “International Geoscience Education Organization (IGEO)” to create awareness about Earth Science among students and to increase their interest in this subject. In India, selection for the IESO is usually done through a national-level Olympiad, which is organized by the Geological Society of India under the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India.

This Olympiad is held in three stages. After the first stage, four students from ALLEN were selected, out of which 3 students were selected in the finals after the Indian National Earth Science Olympiad and Training Camp.
