How I Cracked NEET UG 2025: Meet the AIR-13 Tanay

Tanay’s Dream Came True with Hard Work, Discipline and Right Guidance

NEET exam is one of the toughest and most prestigious exams to get admission in the medical field in India. Lakhs of students dream of it every year, but only a few are able to make it come true.

One such inspirational student is Tanay, who has got admission in Delhi AIIMS – the dream of every NEET aspirant – due to his hard work, discipline and right guidance.

Tanay says, “Reaching AIIMS Delhi was the biggest dream of my life. Naturally I am very happy. My parents are very happy with this achievement and my happiness has doubled in their happiness.”

Where Did You Get the Inspiration to Become a Doctor?

According to Tanay, he was interested in both Maths and Biology, but his father wanted him to become a doctor. This is where the resolve to prepare for NEET started.

His biggest inspiration was his elder sister, who is currently pursuing MBBS from a government medical college.

Family’s Role was important

In this long and challenging journey of NEET preparation, Tanay’s parents supported him at every step. His mother used to wake him up on time in the morning and stayed awake till night, while his father helped him analyze his mistakes after every test. He never pressurized him, but always motivated him.

Staying Away from Social Media was the Key to Focus

While social media has become a big distraction in today’s time, Tanay kept himself away from it from the very beginning. He does not have any Instagram or Facebook account, which did not have any negative impact on his studies.

Benefits of Allen’s role and test pattern

Allen Sikar’s academic environment and test pattern gave a solid direction to Tanay’s preparation. Some of the tests in Allen were already based on the old (pre-Covid) pattern, so when NTA changed the NEET pattern, Tanay was fully prepared.

Tanay says about Allen’s modules, “Allen’s study modules are sufficient for NEET. These include theory of every topic, easy to difficult questions, PYQs and additional practice questions.” He also found extra material like ‘Race’ very useful.

How did you manage backlogs and doubts?

Backlogs were sometimes created due to illness, but Tanay covered them on weekends or in free time. Asking doubts to teachers in class and going to the doubt counter to find solutions when needed was a regular habit of his.

How did you motivate yourself when you got low marks?

Whenever you got low marks, he did not consider it a failure. “I used to take it as feedback and believed that I needed to work more on this topic,” Tanay says. This thought kept encouraging him to move forward.

Strategy for the last 10-15 days

In the last days of NEET, Tanay’s main focus was on revision of the entire syllabus. He did not do any new material or additional questions, but gave priority to the major tests conducted by Allen and complete revision. This also gave him confidence and he was able to revise every topic thoroughly.

How did he control the fear of the exam?

Tanay admitted that he did feel scared on the day of NEET, but the tests conducted regularly by Allen strengthened his confidence. Allen’s test pattern and difficult questions gave him a real exam-like experience, which prevented stress during the actual exam.

Importance of mental stress and breaks

Instead of studying continuously, Tanay used to take small breaks. In a 10-15 minute break, he used to do some favorite activities, which kept his mind fresh and made it easier to focus on studies again. His parents and teachers also kept encouraging him constantly.

Role of PPT, Major and Biocom Tests

Tests like PPT, Major Tests and Biocom conducted at the end of the year by Allen Seeker helped Tanay immensely in doing chapter-wise revision and preparing to tackle difficult questions. The NEET 2025 paper was similar to the level of these tests, giving him an added advantage in the real exam.

In conclusion, Tanay’s success is a proof that if there is the right guidance, discipline, family support and dedication, no dream is impossible. Allen Career Institute gave him the platform where he proved his mettle.

Allen family wishes Tanay all the best and a bright future.
