पिता व भाई ने मजदूरी कर पढ़ाया, अमरेश बनेगा गांव का पहला डॉक्टर

उत्तरप्रदेश में बस्ती निवासी अमरेश यादव ने क्रेक की नीट, बीपीएल परिवार में भतीजे की बीमारी से लिया न्यूरोलॉजिस्ट बनने का प्रण

उत्तरप्रदेश में बस्ती जिले के मुसही गांव निवासी अमरेश यादव के पिता व भाई ने मजदूरी कर पढ़ाया-लिखाया। एलन के छात्र अमरेश यादव ने 720 में से 620 अंक प्राप्त कर कैटेगिरी में 7630 तथा आल इंडिया में 18299 रैंक प्राप्त की है। अच्छा परिणाम आने के बाद अमरेश काउंसलिंग के इंतजार है। उम्मीद है कि उसे यूपी में सरकारी मेडिकल कॉलेज मिल जाएगा, जहां से वो एमबीबीएस कर अपने परिवार, गांव और ब्लॉक का पहला डॉक्टर बनेगा।

अमरेश ने बताया कि काफी समय पहले गांव में मेरे पड़ौस में अंकल रहते थे। उनकी बीमारी में समय पर ठीक उपचार नहीं मिला और उनका निधन हो गया। मैंने तभी डॉक्टर बनने का निर्णय ले लिया था, ताकि अपने गांव के लोगों को अच्छा उपचार दे सकूं। मैं एमबीबीएस करने के बाद न्यूरोसर्जरी में स्पेशलाइजेशन करना चाहता हूं, क्योंकि मेरा एक भतीजा न्यूरो की प्रॉब्लम से जूझ रहा है। उसे आज दिन तक सही उपचार नहीं मिल सका। उसे देखकर ही मैंने इस फील्ड में स्पेशलाइजेशन करने का निर्णय लिया।

मुम्बई में करते हैं मजदूरी

अमरेश ने बताया कि परिवार बीपीएल कैटेगिरी में आते हैं। करीब 5 बीघा जमीन है जिस पर गन्ना, गेहूं व चावल की खेती होती है। इससे साल के मुश्किल से 50 हजार रुपए इनकम हो पाती है। घर का खर्चा नहीं चल पाता तो पापा और बड़े भाई मुम्बई जाकर मजदूरी करते हैं। दोनों वहां किराए की झुग्गी लेकर रहते हैं।

किराए व खाने-पाने का खर्चा बचने के बाद करीब 4 हजार रुपए बच पाते हैं, जिसे दोनों घर भेजते हैं। गांव में बिजली तो आती है लेकिन पानी हैण्डपंप से भरकर लाना पड़ता है। भौतिक संसाधन के नाम पर घर में काफी पुराना फ्रिज है। टीवी भी है लेकिन मेरी पढ़ाई की वजह से पिछले पांच साल से किसी ने उसे देखा तक नहीं।

सरकारी स्कूल से पढ़ाई

मेरे माता-पिता दोनों निरक्षर हैं। वे पढ़ाई का महत्व जानते थे इसलिए स्थिति खराब होने के बावजूद वे जैसे-तैसे कर हमें पढ़ा रहे हैं। मैंने सरकारी स्कूल से कक्षा 6 तक पढ़ाई की थी। इसके बाद प्राइवेट स्कूल में एडमिशन ले लिया, क्योंकि मैं शुरुआत से टॉपर रहा हूं इसलिए प्राइवेट स्कूल ने मामूली शुल्क पर मुझे एडमिशन दिया था।

10वीं में फेल, कोर्ट ने बनाया टॉपर

अमरेश ने बताया कि मैंने वर्ष 2018 में 10वीं कक्षा का एग्जाम दिया था, जिसके परिणाम में मुझे फेल कर दिया गया था। शिक्षा विभाग के अधिकारियों से मिला, अंकों की दुबारा गणना भी कराई लेकिन, कोई फायदा नहीं मिला। थक-हारकर मुझे कोर्ट की शरण लेनी पड़ी।

करीब छह-सात महीने के बाद हाईकोर्ट का निर्णय आया और मेरी कॉपियों का पुर्नमूल्यांकन एक्सपर्ट्स द्वारा कराया गया। इसके बाद संशोधित परिणाम जारी हुआ, जिसमें मैं जिले में दूसरे स्थान पर रहा। इसे बाद 12वीं कक्षा वर्ष 2020 में 84.6 प्रतिशत अंकों से उत्तीर्ण की थी।

तीसरे अटैम्प्ट में मिली सफलता

अमरेश को नीट परीक्षा में यह सफलता तीसरे अटैम्प्ट में मिली है। 12वीं कक्षा उत्तीर्ण करने के बाद कोरोना काल आ गया लेकिन अमरेश ने एलन डिजीटल से जुड़कर ऑनलाइन तैयारी की। नीट यूजी 2021 में उसने 532 मार्क्स प्राप्त किए। कॉलेज मिलना असंभव था।

इसके बाद अमरेश ने क्लासरूम प्रोग्राम में एडमिशन लिया और नीट यूजी 2022 में 575 मार्क्स प्राप्त किए। अंकां में सुधार तो हुआ लेकिन एडमिशन नहीं हुआ। उसने एक बार फिर तैयारी की और नीट 2023 क्रेक कर दिखाया।

Amresh told that a long time ago, uncle used to live in my neighborhood in the village. His illness did not get proper treatment on time and he died. That’s when I decided to become a doctor so that I could provide good treatment to the people of my village. I want to do specialization in neurosurgery after doing MBBS, because one of my nephew is suffering from neuro problem. He could not get proper treatment till today. Moved by nephew’s condition, I decided to do specialization in this field.

Work in Mumbai

Amresh told that the families come under the BPL category. There is about 5 bighas of land on which sugarcane, wheat and rice are cultivated. With this one can hardly earn 50 thousand rupees in a year. When the household expenses could not be met, father and elder brother went to Mumbai and worked as labourers. Both live there in a rented shanty.

After the expenses of rent and food, about 4 thousand rupees weree saved, which they both used to send home. There is electricity in the village, but water has to be brought from a hand pump. In the name of physical resource, there is a very old fridge in the house. There is also a TV but because of my studies no one has even seen it for the last five years.

Studying in Government School

Both my parents are illiterate. They knew the importance of education, so despite the bad situation, they were teaching us in whatever way they can. I studied till class 6 in a government school. After this I took admission in a private school, because I have been a topper since the beginning, so the private school gave me admission on a nominal fee.

Failed in 10th, Court Made Topper

Amresh told that I had given the 10th class exam in the year 2018, in the result of which I was failed. Met the officials of the education department, also got the marks re-calculated, but did not get relief. Exhausted, I had to take refuge in the court. After about six-seven months,

The decision of the High Court came and my copies were re-evaluated by the experts. After this the revised result was released, in which I stood second in the district. It was later passed in class 12th in the year 2020 with 84.6 percent marks.

Success in The Third Attempt

Amresh got this success in NEET exam in the third attempt. After passing the 12th standard, the Corona era came but Amresh started preparing online by joining Allen Digital. He got 532 marks in NEET UG 2021. Getting into college was impossible.

After this Amresh took admission in classroom program and secured 575 marks in NEET UG 2022. Marks improved but admission did not happen. He prepared once again and cracked NEET 2023.
