Assam Board Exam 2026: Timetable for Class 10 and 12 Exams Released

Also Practical Exam Schedule has been Announced

The Assam State Board of School Education has released the datesheet for the Class 10 (HSLC) and Class 12 (HS) board exams for the year 2026. The Class 10 timetable is available on the official SEBA Assam website, and the Class 12 timetable is available on the AHSEC website. Candidates can get complete information from there.

Class 10 (HSLC) Exam 2026: Important Dates

According to the released datesheet, the HSLC exams will begin on February 10, 2026, and continue until February 27, 2026.

  • The exams will be held in two shifts daily:
  •  First Shift: 9 AM to 12 PM
  •  Second Shift: 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM

The HSLC exam will begin with the MIL/English subject.

Class 12 (HS) Exam 2026: Detailed Information

The Higher Secondary (HS) final exams will be held from February 11, 2026, to March 16, 2026.

HS exams will also be held in two shifts:

  •  First Shift: 9 AM to 12 PM
  •  Second Shift: 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM

The exam will begin with the English paper, and the final exams will be for Entrepreneurship Development and Advanced Sanskrit.

Dates for Practical Examinations

Practical examinations for all students registered under the jurisdiction of the Assam State School Examination Education Board (ASSEB), Division II, will be held from January 27 to February 7, 2026, at their respective institutions. This arrangement will apply to students registered for the 2024-25 academic session.

A day before the release of the date sheet, the Chief Minister of Assam shared the exam schedule on his official X account. He stated that:

  •  The HSLC (Matriculation) examination will begin on February 10, 2026.
  •  The Higher Secondary Final Examination will begin on February 11, 2026.

The Chief Minister also wished all students the best for the upcoming examinations.
