For 50 Seats, Private Medical Colleges in Bihar Will Charge the Same as Government Colleges

The Bihar government has directed the private medical colleges and deemed universities to charge fees at par with the government medical colleges for 50 percent of the seats.

Dr. Brajesh Maheshwari  (Chairman, Director & HOD Physics of ACIPL) said, Earlier the National Medical Commission (NMC) had issued a direction to all the private colleges of the country for charging fees at par with the government institutes for 50 percent of the total seats.

The Bihar government has now directed self-financing medical colleges and deemed universities to charge fees at par with the state-run medical colleges for 50 percent of the seats. The government has also decided to introduce a uniform fee structure in all state-run medical colleges.

The state has 8 private medical colleges with 1060 seats for UG. The decision to lower the fees of private medical colleges will benefit a lot of aspirants.
