CBSE has Issued Guidelines for Seamless Student Registration for Board Examinations
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has urged parents to surface precise information about their wards during their registration for the board exams. Stressing on the significance of the submission of the correct information of the students, CBSE has asserted that the correct details of the students are vital for the error free conduct of the examinations.
During the registration of the students for board examinations, CBSE has found that many times parents provide incorrect data, including names, dates of birth, and subject choices. CBSE has maintained that after the completion of the process of the registration and preparation of the List of Candidates (LoC), it becomes very difficult to necessary corrections in the submitted data, particularly after the declaration of the results.
CBSE has released a circular in which it has asserted that: “It has been noted that during registration and submission of LOC, incorrect information is often provided. After results are declared, requests for changes cannot be accommodated.”

For prevention of such errors in the submission of the student data for the board examinations, CBSE has given certain instructions which are as follows:
Moreover, CBSE has also emphasized on the significance of the selection of the subjects for students in Classes 10 and 12. The Board in its circular has categorically stated that “No changes will be accepted after the submission of the LoC”.
