Based on previous years’ trends, it is estimated that the exam timetable may be released soon in October 2025. Previously, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has also announced the Class 10th and 12th exam dates for the 2026 session.

After the CISCE releases the date sheet, students will be able to easily download the schedule by following these steps:

  • First, visit the cisce.org website.
  • Click on the ‘Examinations’ tab on the homepage.
  • Select the ICSE 2026 Exam Dates or ISC 2026 Exam Dates link.

Which Exams Does CISCE Conduct?

CISCE primarily conducts three exams:

  • ICSE (Indian Certificate of Secondary Education – Class 10)
  • ISC (Indian School Certificate – Class 12)
  • CVE (Certificate of Vocational Education – Year 12)

Features of the ICSE Exam

The ICSE exam focuses on providing holistic education through the English medium. Students are required to take six subjects, of which English is compulsory. Students are also evaluated on Socially Useful Productive Work (SUPW) and Community Service.

The ICSE curriculum is based on 12 years of schooling (nursery to grade 10) and gives students the freedom to choose subjects according to their interests and abilities.

Importance of the ISC Exam

The ISC exam is at the grade 12 level and is designed for students preparing for higher education. The subject selection is broad, offering students a variety of options in science, commerce, and arts. The ISC exam syllabus is in line with international standards, allowing students to easily obtain admission to engineering, medical, management, or other professional courses.

Significance of the ICSE and ISC Curriculum

  • Emphasis on English: Both ICSE and ISC courses help strengthen English language skills. This is why students from these boards have an advantage in international exams like IELTS, TOEFL, and SAT.
  • Variety of Subject Choices: Students have ample options to choose subjects that suit their career.
  • Understanding-Based Education: This board emphasizes concept clarity and in-depth study rather than rote learning.
  • Balanced Assessment System: A flexible examination system is adopted to measure students’ original thinking, creativity, and potential.

Helpful Tips for Students

As soon as the ICSE and ISC date sheets for 2026 are released, students should:

  • Plan their studies according to the timetable.
  • Start revision by dedicating time to each subject.
  • Set aside time for difficult subjects and solve previous year question papers.
  • Pay special attention to time management so that you don’t feel stressed during exams.
  • Take care of your health, as exam preparation is ineffective without good health.

Students have been waiting for the CISCE ICSE and ISC Date Sheet 2026 for a long time. It is expected to be released in early October 2025. As soon as the date sheet is available on the official website, students can download it and strengthen their exam strategy.

ICSE and ISC exams are known for their rigorous standards and balanced syllabus. Therefore, students should start preparing early and focus on adequate revision before the exam. With proper planning, consistent practice, and confidence, success is possible.
