More than 40,000 Citizens Joined the Country’s Runners in the Walk-o-Run
With the commitment of health and caring, over 40000 citizens of Kota and marathon runners from across the country participated in the Walk-o-Run 2025. The event was organized under Kota Cares campaign to create public awareness towards health and dedication to serve the coaching students who come to Kota from all over the country to study.
The country’s biggest event Walk-O-Run 2025 was organized by Team Heartwise with the pledge of health and happiness.
The chief guest of the program was Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, who flagged off the 10 km marathon with the Walk-O-Run flag and made the citizens take a pledge under the Kota Cares campaign. During this, Energy Minister Hiralal Nagar, Divisional Commissioner Rajendra Singh Shekhawat, District Collector Dr. Ravindra Goswami and Allen Director Rajesh Maheshwari were also present.
They also flagged off the Kota Cares Run by flagging off the Walk-O-Run. Earlier, City Superintendent of Police Dr. Amrita Duhan flagged off the 21 km marathon runners by flagging off the Walk-O-Run. People of every section of the city were enthusiastic about the run.
From small children to the elderly, everyone participated in the run and gave the message of health awareness. After the race, the winners of various activities under Walk-O-Run were given prizes worth up to Rs 25 lakh.
The 6 km run under Walk-O-Run was named Kota Cares Run. This run was dedicated to the Kota Cares campaign being run to connect the citizens with the caring of coaching students studying in Kota. Kota Cares Run had the highest participation under Walk-O-Run.
From small children to the elderly, everyone completed the race. Before flagging off this run, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla said that it is the liveliness of Kota city that such a large number of citizens gathered in the morning. Make it a habit to wake up early in the morning and pay attention to health. Good health is true wealth.
The citizens have to provide a family-like environment to the coaching students coming to Kota. They have to take care of their own and their family’s health. On this occasion, he also made the citizens take a pledge to take care of the coaching students under Kota Cares.

After sending off the Kota Cares Run, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla also walked on the marathon route while meeting the citizens. During this, ALLEN’s Director Rajesh Maheshwari, Energy Minister Hiralal Nagar, MLA Sandeep Sharma, Divisional Commissioner, and District Collector were also present.
