Sanishtha-Emotional Wellbeing Centre has been started by ALLEN Career Institute in Kota. This centre has expert counsellors from every discipline of the counselling.
Generally, when we use the word counselling, everyone fears to get treatment considering it a mental illness. Keeping this mindset in mind, no word like ‘counselling’ is used in this centre.
Whatever problem a student has, he/she has been given several kinds of mediums to express it.
The student can call through the helpline, can send a message on WhatsApp, the student can directly meet the person sitting in the campus as a representative of the centre, and also the students can share their problems with the representative of All Students Welfare Society working here.
The student in any kind of trouble is sent to the expert of Emotional Wellbeing Centre for solution of the problem he or she is facing.
It has different experts for all the matters like relationship matters, academic matters, stress, self-harm, drug addiction, internet addiction, who look into those matters and study the child’s mentality and try to treat him.
The centre also counsels the students to boost their confidence for the preparation of the competitive examinations and life, he said.
